compulsive hoarding

there's a specific term for my tendency,.. its compulsive hoarding.

i heard it this morning on hardrock-fm, the local radio. it means i compulsively collect mundane used and useless object everyday..

Really. I got it from my father who is a cancer, and it is written in his stars that he will collect useless things for keepsake and later use. and i am, being a cancer myself, compulsive hoarding was in my stars. and my gene.

The urge to not throw things away was to strong for me to fight.. i just kept thinking i would use it in some kind of craft, or it might be useful someday,..
but with the time i can spare, it never really made it to craft phase.... and i can never throw them away,. it would be such a waste and that would break my heart...

do any of you crafter, feel my pain?

i made these a while ago,.. but never really make the time to post it,.. i was actually wanting to make a mukenah for myself, in soft yellow. so i bought 5 meter fabric, but only use 4. and decided to try to make flowers out of it..



for a flower pin..



and bandos for my unbelievably cute nieces, who live in far-far-away land of gresik, i made two headbands, one for my 7 YO niece and another for the little one, i just love dressing them, they're like the cutest living doll ever



cant wait to give these to them :)

my other passion

i dedicated this blog for my other passion,.. which is: to make things. what things? oo i dunno, it could be anything, it could be any cutesy from a simple bangles, which i make dozens of, to a laundry bin that i cant seem to finish.. why oo why?..

anyway i make a name for this random thoughts and effort to make things.. i'm caling it curlymind :p heheee,.. and yes, my thoughts tangles..
and as designer i try to make a logo for curlymind.. tadaaa..



i've made my header by cropping this logo,.. is this brandwise?? i dunno.. i just like it, and its nice to have done something that is just for the fun of it though not soo wise. which is the whole point of the blog,.. making things wise or unwise just for the sake of making it
